Hanging ceramic Fox decoration. 2 piece set.

This lovely little set is hand made by me (a one woman show) in my tiny studio pottery in Cornwall.
Technique - I use porcelain clay which I press into a mould That I designed and made using plaster.Once the fox has dried a bit I clean and tidy the edges and back by hand and make the hole for hanging.
When they are fully dry they are fired in my kiln at 1096c. I then paint them using a colour layering technique, glaze them and fire them again to 1296c, making them glossy and heard wearing.
The finished decoration is strung on a durable rustic wax cord suitable for indoor and outdoor hanging.
Each fox is hand made and painted so they may vary slightly, making each one unique and individual.
These woodland pottery fox ornaments would make the perfect gift for any nature lover or wild life enthusiast, to hang in the house or in the garden.
